Laura was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She completed her undergraduate Advanced Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Manitoba, majoring in psychology. It was during the completion of her undergraduate degree that she became aware of the profession called Occupational Therapy. Laura knew this was her calling as such a multifaceted profession would allow her to incorporate her many interests, help and collaborate with others. She completed her Master of Occupational Therapy degree at the University of Manitoba. Since graduating, Laura has worked primarily with school aged children and also with the geriatric population. Laura's passion and interest in maternal health and infant wellness has long existed but greatly increased with the arrival of her baby boy in 2020. It was this year that not only a mother was born, but so was the idea for Motherhood Holistic occupational therapy services. When not working, you can find Laura spending time with friends and family, enjoying time in nature, reading or cooking with her husband!
